Convert .mts To Mac Format

Whats

Question

Hi Guys,

I shot alot of videos but it's all in .MTS format. It's really pain in the &%$ i have to convert it to mac everytimes. Its one of the example of the orginal clip.

Video: H.264/AVC,1920 x 1080, 29.97 fps

Audio: Dolby Digital 5.1, 48000Hz

Now when I go to Convert to convert the video file:

Player Setup:

Device: H.264 Player

Quality: Best.

So is that the same setting as my original? ( I'm a beginner) Did I need to make any adjustment for the best setting?

thx

Well, I never knew that until now where you just connect your camera to the Toaster. But most of my files is from dragging from the camera to the desktop.

Unfortunately I don't have a camera that creates those so I can't do any testing. You might check what you get when you choose Movies in the Media Browser and access those files. If they can be recognized that way you can use the browser to add them to the main window. I wonder if you can get tips from forums at Panasonic or Sony or the Apple forums. I did an online search and read advice to avoid some apps that promote themselves as doing MTS conversions. So if you do think that is what you need be sure to go to Macupdate.com and read any user comments for that application.

Of course you should do a search for MTS (don't include the dot ahead of the extension) in this forum and the Toast 10 forum.
