What Is The Path To Temp And Cache Files

WesA

Question

I'm using MacOSX 10.8, Toast 11

I keep getting the message from Toast that there are too many files open when creating a disc image. I assume there are temp and/or cache files that were not deleted properly when closing Toast.

I have tried searching for these files to no avail. I have figured out that they must be set to invisible. Can anyone give me the path to these files?

HD/Library/etc.

Thanks

This is odd. I have no idea what Toast is referring to. You don't mention what kind of disc image you are creating; whether it is data, audio or some kind of video. When Toast is encoding video it writes the temporary files to the Roxio Converted Items folder. There probably are invisible temp files somewhere but that's never been an issue as far as I know. Are any of the files you're using open in some other application at the same time? I'm not even sure that would matter in most cases.

Sorry I don't have an answer to your question. All I can think of are more questions.
