Finding And Posting Install Logs

Install Logs are useful for resolving many 'Instillation Interrupted' or 'Rollback' problems.

 

I took some screen caps and if you follow along, you will be able to post your install logs here for examination

NOTE! Zipped Files are Required due to changes in size limitations (3/8/15)

 

 

 

 

Type %APPDATA% in the Start Search box:

 

Locate the Log File and copy it to an easy location:

 

Paste it in that location:

 

Use the Basic Uploader:

 

Browse to the file:

 

...and Post New Topic:

 

 

There are times when we may need to the FULL Folder of logs... The size of that will exceed your allowed Upload Limit here, so we need to Zip it!

 

Right Click on the Folder and do these steps:

 

There is a substantial difference between the size of the orginal folder and the Zipped one:
