r2sma
Hi, Im new to using Toast and an iMac, however when i try and burn a movie, it copies & burns okay, except there is no sound. Ive looked at the obvious settings without any luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Im using Toast 11 Titanium. This is the setting that shows up in the settings for the audio... MPEG Layer-3 audio, stereo, 48000 Hz Many thanks
tsantee
Go to perian.org and download and install the perian codec. Then launch Toast and redo the project. I presume you're trying to create a video DVD.
r2sma
Hi, Yes im trying to create a video DVD. It copies alright, just no sound on the playback. The movie plays fine on the iMac with sound. Its just when converted onto a DVD to playback on the tv. Ill download the perian you suggested, however will that resolve the playback within the DVD? Thx

Thx Toast is unable to decode and convert the audio from your source file without the availability of the perian codec. You will have sound if perian is installed, Toast is relaunched, and you create the project again from the source video.
