I installed the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro recording program without inserting the USB hub first. I followed all of the directions properly with a correct install. When the USB is inserted its recognised with the correct drivers. When i click on the blue capture button in the RGC program my windows theme us automatically changed to basic The status bar is green, however then after a few seconds it changes to red saying 'Capture device'. Then there is a pop up with "Select video device failed". Im getting a video onto my other monitor that is coming from my xbox, and the two monitors between my computer and xbox are not connected together.
i have checked that my graphics card drivers are up to date, the RGC program has the latest patch, and that my computer is able to handle the hd video recording with VirtualDub (my computer specs are below). Im in Australia so im running PAL and i have a 64bit computer
I found in another thread that if the theme changes to basic that the problem has something to do with the graphics card. Please HELP
