I was having issues with Roxio easy CD & DVD, it wasn't going past the intial loading screen. I got a popup that said nothing in it, and then I got the "Invalid Pointer (Error 80004003)" message. I checked the forums here for a solution, and the most common one I found was to go to Run: and type in the following: c:\windows\system32\regsvr32.exe msxml3.dll
It seemed to fix it for most users, but unfortunately for me it did not. I got another error message that said: "The Module msxml3.dll failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the speccified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. A dynamic link library intialization routine failed."
So much for that solution. Does anyone else have any other ideas to how to fix this? I've tried numerous times to uninstall (through the control panel > add/remove programs), I tried running the repair option they had in the setup.exe and nothing seems to work. Very frustrated!
ANother note that might be helpful (?) When I first re-installed the program, I got a runtime error saying "This application has requested the RUntime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information." After running the "repair", I ended up with the invalid pointer error instead. Hooray.
Any help or information or test runs would be greatly appreaciated! Please and thank you!
