Beerman
Did you download so many times because it would not complete the download? It still sounds like it didn't complete. What was the file size of the downloaded file? Have you tried to use a file extractor to see if the file will complete an uncompression of it? samgold
The download completed every time. There are 4 files in every download. I dont have the file sizes at this moment. I will have to do another download to get that. I downloaded so many times, because I tried all the permutations of rebooting, firewall on and off, antivirus on and off. Also because I thought that I might just get lucky one of the times. Results - CRC error in Data1.cab I tried unzipping the exe with 7 zip. it can open the .exe file, and list the contents just fine. 7 zip will start the uncompress and then reach Data1.cab. It will say there is a crc error. It actually said there was a crc error for 3 files named Data1.cab in different directories (on seemed to be music something). After that 7 zip just hangs. No output extracts. I am hoping that Roxio can point me to a place that has these files and directories in a non exe non zipped format. I could easily download from there. cdanteek
Here are all the Data1.cab's from the RoxioCreatorNXTPRO_LC36AXD0R14 download file Unfortunately the top one is 562 mb probably the one you need! Have you contacted Roxio telling them about the corrupt download file?
samgold
cdanteek, Thanks for this information. Am I supposed to be able to download this from the forum? If so - how? I tried probing all the lines and nothing seemed downloadable? Thanks Sam
samgold
I have contacted Roxio and they say their job is done in allowing me to download and I should contact tech support. However I cannot contact tech support because I cannot install anything, and I dont want to pay for premium support for something that I cannot install yet. Catch 22. I tried explaining to the Customer Service lady - but she said they were not trained for such things and I was sort of on my own. they could give me a refund - but that is not wwhat I want. duped
Just purchased this product (Creator NXT) via download. Having same issue and receiving the same error message (ZIP damaged: file.....Bad CRC. Downloaded the file a second time. File size was identical as the first file. Same error message when attempting to install. Has anyone been able to resolve the problem? Seems its been at least a couple of weeks since the error was first reported by another user? Brendon
Check the file with a different compressor, just in case I've found files that WINZIP didn't like but 7-Zip and others had no problems with, and vice versa. It startled me, but it has happened more than once.

duped
re-downloaded the Content file for the third time (twice last night, then just now). Unzip and install without error. The Content file name and size on today's download show as identical to the previous two. Who knows - just glad it's working. Thanks.
