Hi, Welcome to the forum. There is not a lot of information in your post to tell us how to help you.

Perhaps if you answer these questions to the best of your ability, we will try to help to the best of our ability.

The questions are here (link).

Just for information. If you made a DVD slide show, you made a movie. It is a standard definition video. There are ways of getting the images off the disc but anything you get will not be very good quality. Please let us know if that is what you want to do and we can provide more information about doing screen captures.

Thank you both so very much for responding. The project was done in Roxio Creator 9 slideshow, and I have this dreadful feeling it will have to be stills from a movie to retervie photos. My computer is so old it runs windows xp and its a 2003 model but it has bits and peices from every where. Are you able to help me please I would be quiet happy to pay for the help thank you kind reagrds nomes

Did you delete the original photo files from your computer? Did you not archive them to a DVD or hard drive?

The age of the computer does not create a problem, I still use a computer from 2002 running XP and I keep it to expecially run versions of older programs that will not run under Vista or newer windows versions.
