Capture Button Does Nothing

Question

So I just got my HD Pro today and it doesn't work. Whenever I open the the program and I have to choose between Capture and Edit nothing happens when I hit capture. I have tried repairing and reinstalling multiple times and nothing works. I have also tried doing all of these steps: Plug in the Capture device and Disable it in the Device Manager (Sound and Video Game Controllers)

Unplug it and put it aside till later.

Turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc. and insert your Roxio Disc (download version - run Install)

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

When the Repair competes, you will have to reapply the SP1 for game capture.

Then turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

but still nothing. What do I do now?

That looked familiar

A couple of folks have reproted this but I have not been able to duplicate it!

You do realize it is Christmas time and this is not Roxio support???

You have not provided any details about your PC, Video Card, settings etc...

While I am hoping Santa brings me a crystal ball, I don't see anything under the tree like that :(

This is my computer:

CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra 2138 Desktop PC AMD FX-Series FX-8120(3.1GHz) 8GB DDR3 1TB HDD Capacity AMD Radeon HD 6670 1GB Windows 8

it shouldn't have any problems running the program. And I am aware that this isn't support, I just wanted to see if anyone had any insight because I can't contact support until the 27th

Of course you need to make sure that your Video Card Software as well as drivers are up to date!

The other issue we see is having your resolution set to 'normal' (1920 X 1080) and it is important to have the DPI set to Normal (100%)

I see you have Win 8, do not ever run or install any program in Compatibilty Mode ~ same applies to Win7.

Other than that, I cannot really offer anything as those that posted here have never come back
