at the end of the burning process, this message fails cd burning: " One of your files did not compare to the originals..."

You may have used a bad disc. Burn at a lower speed with good quality discs. Don't use verify; it really doesn't do what you want it to.

Open Device manager, find your DVD Drive under DVD/CD-Rom Drives, right click on it and click uninstall, reboot the PC and windows will reinstall drivers for the device.

 

Place your installation disc in the DVD Drive and choose repair when offered. Let it run and reboot the PC when its done. Any Service Packs for the Suite will have to be reinstalled now..

Where did you get EMC 10? If it came free with your computer then you may have Creator 10 with a two letter designation after that. Get a copy from your computer manufacturer. If you have a downloaded version, you are probably out of luck unless you kept the download on a disc or other safe place. Use that.

i uninstall, reboot the PC and windows reinstall drivers for the device, a.Blu-Ray burner . then at the end of the burning process, this message says: "your disc was created succes..." but this is not true, as the disc is still blank, no data at all.

I'm pretty sure that is an OEM from Sony, Contact them for help.

 

In your first post, you said that you were burning a CD now you are talking about burning a blu ray burner or disc. Which is it? What are you really trying to do?
