How Do I Rip Music From A Dvd Video Of Daughter's Opera?

I have a dvd of my daughter in an opera but want to get the music on cd for playback. Is it possible?

I may be in the wrong forum as I'm still on Roxio Creator 2011 Pro. Haven't upgraded yet.
