Roxio Hd Pro Software Keeps On Crashing! Please Help

Question

Hey i just got my roxio game cap pro

i had the old roxio game cap and i decided to upgrade

my old one worked just fine when i tried to record

but now when i use the new one i hit capture, live stream , or even options and i get an error message saying roxio hd pro has stopped working and then it just coses itself down.

i know i meet the requirements just please any help?

You need to do a proper repair ~ SKIP NOTHING! ADD NOTHING!

 

 

Plug in the Capture device and Disable it in the Device Manager (Sound and Video Game Controllers)

 

Unplug the device and put it aside till later.

 

Turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc. and insert your Roxio Disc (download version - run Install)

 

Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)

 

When you reach the screen where
Repair
is offered, choose that!

 

Then turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

Sorry I forgot to mention you may have to do this a couple of times for it to work :wacko:

 

This is a software error and the ONLY fix is to get the Software installed correctly.

If it isn't the software then it is your PC :o

 

List out your PC Specs including your Video Card, like I have in my sig block...
