Error When Trying To Install Roxio Game Capture Hd Pro Software

Today I just got the Roxio game capture HD Pro for christmas. I was all excited to get it open and set it up. I got all the wires plugged in, but then when i put the disc in and gave it permission and selected my language and error came up like this:

"error attempting to read from the source install database: D:/CPDECODERPACK_GAME1X/CPCD.msi"

Then I hit ok and a few moments later another error came up like this:

"error attempting to read from the source install database: D:/GAME.../Roxio Game Capture HD PRO.msi"

I seriously have absolutely no clue what to do from here on out. I've tried everything I can find on this issue and none have worked so far. I really just want to start capturing and using this thing, so please help! Here are the Install logs if they are handy:

PLEASE HELP!!!

The instructions are not really clear on this, but basically you NEVER attach any USB hardware to a PC until AFTER you have the software installed!!!!!!!

 

What you want to try is create a new user on your PC with Administrator Prevledges.

 

Once that is done and you have rebooted and logged on as that User, copy the entire disc to a new folder on your HDD.

 

Right click on the Setup.exe file and Open.

 

Hoping that will get you installed... Let us know

Yes, HDD Means Hard drive, Copy the files from the disc, onto a folder on your desktop, or somewhere, then run the setup

Try access a PC and copy the files from the disc, onto a usb, then onto the notebook and try install from there?

I doubt very much that the software will work on a notebook that does not even have a CD/DVD drive
