Big Issues With Plextor Blu Ray And Toast

Hello, i get 9 times out of 10 an error message:

The drive reported an error: Sense Key = Hardware Error

Sense Code = 0x3E, 0x02

Timeout on Logical Unit.

My Bluray Burner: Plextor PX-LB950UE

 

Toast Pro 11 latest version.

 

What is the prblem here?

I don't know. Check if there is a firmware update available for the drive. Turn off Toast's Fit-to-Disc feature for burning video DVDs. After the blank disc is loaded use the Recorder Settings window to select a slower than Best burn speed. Try with a different brand of media. Choose Save as Disc Image and then burn the resulting .toast file to disc. Try connecting to a different USB port if this is an external drive. Do a Mac restart before initiating a burning session. I don't know if any of these will work but they are some of the things I would try. I'd also run DiskWarrior.
