Hd Pro Software Crashes - Brand New Install



We just got the Game Capture HD Pro for Christmas. Installed today and have now tried to use it 6 times. The first 5 times the software froze while capturing and now the 6th time it completely crashed our computer.


Running Windows 7 Pro with i5 3Ghz, 8GB RAM on a computer that is less than a year old.


Just tried to be sure I've got the latest service pack, which I do.


Presumably this software actually works for someone. Can you please suggest why mine isn't?

This was not solved. Not sure why the discussion group software did that and can't figure out how to undo it, but we're still looking for help.

The software can't do it, only you can... It has been fixed.


For your problem follow these steps exactly - add nothing - leave nothing out!


First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.


Now insert your Roxio Disc (download version - run Install)


Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)


When you reach the screen where
is offered, choose that!


When the Repair competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.


Check for updates when you start the program.
