I have this software (My DVD 9 studio) and never use it. I downloaded to my window seven desktop.

Seems having difficulties when I wanted to edit it. First it has asked me to download quick time 7.04 which has done. I have two questions and hoping some one could help me out.

 

question one: how to trim video un wanted length and save it?

question two: How to create slows and fast motion?

myDVD Studio 9 is not compatible with Windows 7.

Did your version of MyDVD 9 come with a computer - for example is it MyDVD 9 with a two letter designation like DE (MyDVD9 DE)? If so, that is an OEM version. Go to your computer manufacturer's web site to see if they have a free update (i doubt it).

The program may run for a short time but it will fail (probably at the worst possible time). This is the current equivalent versionof your software.

 

If you are still interested in learning how to use the program, you probably have a version of Video Wave. Since that is an older product, I have no way to check what is included in your version. Here is one tutorial that cover your trimming questions. You can also select to use scenes. Note: If you do choose to upgrade to a W7 compatible product, the basic operating procedures are the same.

 

As for the other question. See the attached. It is from a much newer version of Video Wave. Double click on the video section in the time line. If you get a pop up window you should see something like this

 

 

 

As I said, I don't know what is in your version so take the above as a reference tool in case you do decide to update.

 

Remember you are playing Russian Roulette with the old version you are using..
