Xbox And Game Capture Help Please

my parents got me a new bush tv/dvd tv and roxio for xbox 360 i got the extra leads too, we went to set it all up but have found that on the tv we dont have enough holes to stick all the leads in...on my old tv we have but thats old and small and i really wanted to use my chrimbo pressie to the max, we are all new to this roxio thing and pc world ect said they do not stock anything we can use to make extra slots to add these new leads any help would be great thanks guys my dad says we need an extentsion to add the leads into but he`s not sure

It is not the number of plugs & sockets but rather their function that is of concern!!!

 

OUTPUT of Roxio GameCAP is HDMI or Component (P_R, P_B & Y) w/separate Audio...

 

IF your TV only accepts Composite (Yellow, White, Red), it cannot work as is!

 

You will need to get an cable that is an adapter to go from Component or HDMI to Composite!

(Would your TV have a SCART connector? ~ that might be the prize behind door number 3)

 

But Double Check your TV to see what it has!!!

 

If you don't use these often, it is easy to confuse component & composite, so Write Them down when you go shopping (I do!)

hi thanks for reply, im not sure why i got the leads they are Xbox 360 Component HD AV Cable my dad says i only have a small scart socket space left and this lead has 6 pins so wont go anywhere my dad has been trying to find out if there is a lead/extension that can go in the tv that has the 6 holes in that we can plug all these into, im abit lost with it all to be honest,

thanks for that this is what i bought as an extra maybe i dont need this im not sure but i have no where on my tv/dvd to plug them in all i have left on my tv is a small scart socket

Please provide us with the make and model # of your tv.

 

I can then look at the user manual and hopefully tell you what sort of connector you need.

 

Both myself and the other poster cdanteek live in N. America so we have limited knowledge on Scart connectors

Does this cable look like it would fit into your Scart plug.
