Roxio Gamecap Hd Pro "no Signal"

GAMERzLORD

Question

Hey everybody, first forum post so be nice? I recently got the Roxio GameCap HD Pro for christmas and ive been having some problems. I pluged in the HDMI cabels and the USB cable correctly but when I launch the software, it shows this: The satus says in green "No signal" and the input says "No input". The Xbox (360) is turned on and the TV is set to HDMI, on the TV all I can see is a black screen with the word HDMI in the top left corner. I have tried switching the HDMI cables around, but nothing happens. When I plug the HDMI directly from the TV to my Xbox it works fine, but when I try using my GameCap, the TV screen goes black again. I have seen other posts simillar to this but I have gotten no help... I've searched all over google to find an answer but no luck. So I was wondering if anybody out there knows how to fix this. If I can find an answer I will be very happy.

P.S. just incase, heres my PC specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1

Intel® Core 2 Duo CPU E8400 at 3.00GHz

4 GB RAM

64-bit Operating System

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti - Direct X 11

Thanks in advance!

"Why can’t I see the anything on TV even though I have connected HDMI cable properly between the capture device and TV?

Except for the cable connection/setup (following by the Getting Started Guide), check the following items:

  1. Make sure the USB cable is connected between the capture device and a laptop/PC. The laptop/PC has to be powered on. HDMI pass through relies on the USB power from the PC/laptop.

  2. Make sure Roixo software is installed on the laptop/PC where the USB cable from the capture device is connected to.

  3. Launch the capture application of Roxio Game Capture HD PRO software at least once. If the preview video doesn’t show up, close the application and launch it again."

I did all that already, thanks for trying though!

Is the RGC USB Device pluged into a USB port on the PC?

With the RGC Device plugged in do you show a Roxio driver under sound video and game controllers in Device Manager.

Do you show a entry like I show under 'Other Devices'?

Stop posting me too post all over the board, they will be deleted.

Yes the USB is plugged in and the RGC is lighting up. (purple if it matters)

Under sound "sound, video, and game controlelrs all I see is - NVIDIA High Definition Adudio ( x4 ) - Realtek High Definition Audio - Sound Blaster Tactic (3D) Sigma

As for "other devices" there is only - TRANSCODER (with the same icon as the "other devices" tab. Im guessing thats the RGC)

Right now I am re-installing the software, again.

*Thanks for the support and quick reply, again. :D

Nope, you plugged the USB Device into the PC before installing the software and windows installed that incorrect driver!
