tbrewst
It could be that it is a "hidden file".Make sure that in Windows Explorer that under Tools,Folder Options,View that "show hidden files" is checked.
nvslater
The address for the log was C:\DOCUME~1\Vernon\LOCALS~1\Temp\RxErrors.log I do have hidden files checked.
T.O.T.G.
The address for the log was C:\DOCUME~1\Vernon\LOCALS~1\Temp\RxErrors.log I do have hidden files checked. Well, your first option is to do a windows search for "RxErrors.log" Or, you can navigate there... When you say "I can't find it", what do you specifically mean? Can you not find the folder location? If so, DOCUME~1 = Documents and Settings LOCALS~1 = Local Settings Can you not find the file within the temp folder? Try going there directly after you get the error... Arrange icons by name, select an icon (any icon), and press "R". From this arrangement, it should be easier to find it. I'm sorry if i'm being overly simplistic, but I have no clue on your computer expertise, so I might as well start with the basics. If you still cannot find the file, let us know, and we'll see what we can do to help.
nvslater
I searched for RxErrors, not there. I do have hidden files enabled. I can find Documents and settings\Vernon\Local Settings\Temp\ but no RxError.log. The next time I run the recorder, I will take more detailed notes, if there are errors again. I was interested in any information on the errors that were found. I changed the color profile on the pictures that would not record and tryed again and they recorded ok. Hmm, allright, well, the only thing that I can really think of then is the word temp... This signifies to me that it gets wiped every once in a while... I'm not entirely sure what the temp folder in that location is used for, or when it gets updated/erased, but if you waited for a bit before going to that location, then it is possible that the temp folder got wiped... Thats all that I can really think of... anyone else have any ideas?

I'm not sure what you used to burn the DVD. My error log for Creator Classic is set to: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Roxio\Dragon\WriteLogs\error.log Also, for some of the EMC suite applications I use you can turn error logging on or off. Perhaps you can check under Tools/Options and search around to see if your error logging is turned off. Lance *****
