Cd Spin Doctor - Audio Capture Support Won't Install

The audio capture support is only needed to capture online streaming audio. If you are capturing via a line input you don't need it. Search the forum because there was quite a bit of discussion on this at one time. I recall figuring out a way to get it to install when it wouldn't do it automatically, but I don't remember what that was. If this is urgent you might go to macupdate.com and search for other apps that do online streaming audio capture. CD SpinDoctor was rather buggy.

I can run CD Spin Doctor, but the menu for VOCAL vs. CD vs. DVD is all greyed out. I get to a point and can't continue because the OK or CONTINUE buttons are greyed out. I tried deleting the .plist files from the System Library and User Preferences but that didn't help. It just says "Installation Failed - Contact the software manufacturer".

I will see if I can find some other application. Too bad, though. I liked the interface and was used to the editing and equalization functions, etc.

I always used the main window rather than the "Recording Assistat." There I chose New Recording from the File menu. But I just loaded it and New Recording is greyed out so I'm having the same issue as you.

You can capture with a different application and do the editing with Spin Doctor. After completing a recording choose open audio file in Spin Doctor to begin work on it.
