ShockingAlberto
Absolutely not, not with the state this software is in. Wait a few months to see if they fix it or use those few months saving up for something better.
Solution
Pretty much what ShockingAlberto said. It's a great device, but the software really needs some work first, since it's a new product(Like what, 3 months old?).

TornSilhouette
Relatively Ive been using a Dazzle for Game capture and such to get used to editing and capturing until im ready to upgrade, relatively the upside to the HD has an easier streaming capabilities compared to the El Gato, and have heard nothing but positive and beginner easy for the software, granted i need to see it for myself first
Solution
I want to record my games for commenting, making montages with sony vegas. I want to directly import recorded video to sony vegas with the best quality. Is it possible? thanks You can, but you have to take one extra step since the audio doesn't import in Vegas. The thread about it is hear, and would solve the problem while retaining full quality(no extra rendering, it just puts the video/audio data into a separate container like WMV, MP4 etc. It only takes a few minutes.): http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/84041-make-roxio-recorded-files-full-compliant-with-any-video-editor-vegas-power-director-adobe-premiere/ The only things that I would suggest changing from that tutorial are the following: - Instead of copying the audio, change it to AC3(Aften) and configure it to 384kbps. - Use the .TS muxer, since they're compliant with Sony Vegas. When it comes to capturing with the Roxio, it's a yes or no so I really couldn't tell you. Also, I'm assuming you have Intel HD Graphics?.
quekemok
yes, intel hd graphics
Jim_Hardin
Does Intel HD Grapics translate into an On Board Chip or CPU Chip??? If so, it may not work as no chip can ever do the work of a Graphics Card... Keep in mind if you buy from the Roxio Store you do have a 30 day return policy that few Retail Stores will give you
