Compatability Of A Sony Dcr-Hc42E

Hello i was just wondering about my Sony DCR-HC42E camcorder in whether it would work with this software? as ive tried connecting it directly to my windows 7 computer and as my computer is new and the camcorder is old the software aint compatible with each other, would this effect the usage of the easy VHS to DVD program?

Tell us how you are connecting your Camcorder to the computer?. What does the user manual say about running it on Win 7?.

 

The VHS to DVD program will work fine with the camcorder, just use the A/V cable that comes with it.

That video camera has a firewire (iLink) port, and you should be using a firewire for transfer to your computer. That being said, it should still work with the Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus system.
