Sony Camcorder To Pc

Hi,

 

I have an old Video 8 Sony CCD-TR6208 Camcorder and want to convert all my old video's onto my PC. When I connect it to my PC using the VHS to DVD 3 plus software, I receive the sound but no picture. What I am doing wrong, all I have on the camcorder are a yellow and black (audio out) connectors and these are plugged into the the supplied USB connector that came with the software?

Do you see the two entries in your Device Manager?.

Just one entry.

Try this:

 

Plug in the USB Device

 

Disable the entry in the Device Manager

 

Remove the device and place it in another room

 

Start an install of the Software again, only choose

Repair

when it is offered

 

When it's done reboot the pc and remove the installation disc. now open device manager and plugin the Roxio Game Capture USB Device and see if the two entries show .

Tried what you mentioned above, still only one entry appearing. Any other idea's?

You followed the steps exactly, each and everyone of those steps is needed, in that order.

Still no good, should the one entry still be disabled onced the computer has been rebooted, as it as but even if I enable it I only get sound?

I have just noticed that I do have another ' Roxio Video Capture USB' under other devices in Device Manager but this one has a question mark next to it.

Got it working at last, I went onto 'Devices and printers' and under 'Roxio Video Capture' I looked at the drivers and noticed that one of the USB connections had no driver. Got the computer to search for one and now works fine.
