Preview Screen Now Has Lines

Halo Diehards

Question

Hmm... so frustrated. It seems with each fix of a Roxio HD Pro issue, I am presented with new problems.

The Roxio software has started crashing my system. I have repaired it and will test that out in a few moments, but meanwhile, the following issue has persisted after the repair: Now, in my preview screen, I get no color except the green and purple stripes that don't belong there.

The following is supposed to be full color, but the editing previews look like this, as does the preview video while it's rendering. After it renders it looks fine (other than the loss of clarity that so many are unhappy with :/). Does anybody know why it's doing this?

Signed,

ExhaustedFromDealingWithRoxio :/

PS: I appreciate people taking the time to help with these issues!post-108889-0-31305300-1357159071_thumb.jpg

After hours and hours and hours of searching for issues with buggy Roxio software, I have stumbled upon the solution to this (at least in my case). I had put my Windows theme to Basic, because that is supposed to give you more processing for the Roxio to actually work when rendering, but it appears you must have it set to Aero or the above screenshot and similar preview issues will occur.

Switched back to Aero and my preview window seems fine. For now. Who knows what's next.

My preview screen didn't even work when I had it because I had it set to Windows Basic. Switched back to Aero and worked like a charm...until my audio problem (defective). It's quite annoying that you can't increase your performance because the software doesn't want to cooperate with basic, but oh well.

Must be a result of your video cards' inability to handle all of this...

I have run mine in both Basic as well as Aero on two different PC's and don't have any issues

NOTHING in the software is causing this.

But I thought you said you weren't using Roxio HD Pro? Perhaps it's something to do with the Roxio HD Pro unit and the specific software that comes with it.
