I will be transfering 90min cassette's to a cd-r 40x 700mb 80min.so does this mean,i will be

10min too long, for the cd? Is this correct? thanks

First of all tell us what software you are using and then your thread will be moved to the correct forum. If you had read the sub-heading for this thread you would have seen that this forum is for "non Roxio CD/DVD burning topics

If you create a audio CD then it will not fit. If you want a mp3 CD then it will fit plus a whole lot more.

the software is Roxio easy VHS to DVD. What is the correct form for my question? thanks

If you had bothered to look further in these forums you would have seen the forum for "Easy VHS to DVD" and not posted in the first convenient forum.

Your thread has been moved.

I have no idea whether VHS to DVD can even be used to capture only audio from an audio cassette.

Depends on HOW MUCH you have on the tape  - If you have a 20 Gallon Gas Tank, does that mean it always has 20 gallons in it?

Record the tape to your PC first then put together a Compilation before burning. Then you can see what you really have ;)
