Choppy Video

Question

I just installed Easy VHS to DVD on my HP G60 laptop ( 2.2 Ghz processor with 3MB RAM) and it was definitely easy to install and use but when I playback on a DVD player the video is choppy / jerky - it hesitates every couple of seconds for a brief moment so it is not comfortable to watch. I made sure nothing else was running and used task manager to end processes that were not needed in order to make the most resources available. Is my laptop just underpowered - yet it meets the minimum spec requirements? Any ideas of what I can do short of getting a new laptop?

Richard

Please post the results of the dxdiag evaluation of you computer. Read this (link). It will tell us about what your have for a computer and the status of your computer drivers. Remember to attach the text file and not just copy and paste.

Did you capture and burn in one step?

Did the DVD play correctly on your computers player?

How long in time is the video you burned to the DVD?

Did you do a direct burn to DVD or did you first capture to your hard drive and then burn the captured video to the DVD?
