Choppy Video

RichardF

Question

I just installed Easy VHS to DVD on my HP G60 laptop ( 2.2 Ghz processor with 3MB RAM) and it was definitely easy to install and use but when I playback on a DVD player the video is choppy / jerky - it hesitates every couple of seconds for a brief moment so it is not comfortable to watch. I made sure nothing else was running and used task manager to end processes that were not needed in order to make the most resources available. Is my laptop just underpowered - yet it meets the minimum spec requirements? Any ideas of what I can do short of getting a new laptop?

Did the DVD play correctly on your computers player?

How long in time is the video you burned to the DVD?

Did you do a direct burn to DVD or did you first capture to your hard drive and then burn the captured video to the DVD?
