No Audio On Tv Or Capture?

pokeypummel17

Question

After installing the software I am getting no audio on either the TV or the capture software. I am hooked up via HDMI and I am getting video perfectly fine it's just that there is no audio. I read somewhere that in device manager there's supposed to be 2 different Roxio drivers under "Sound, video and game controllers" but I only have one. Help?

I have the console (Wii U) hooked up to the wall, HDMI from console to Roxio, HDMI from Roxio to TV. USB from Roxio to computer. Video is fine on the TV and capture software however there's no audio whatsoever, I've plugged up different HDMI cables and still nothing. Any suggestions?

Does the Wii offer any seperate Audio output (White & Red RCA)??? If so, hook that into the GameCAP (any rca plugs will do the trick).

Actually ANY Audio source plugged into the GameCAP would be useful! We really need to confirm that it isn't a Wii issue ;)

Otherwise... Unplug all Roxio then Uninstall your sound card in Device Manager.

Reboot.

Do you think I should just ask for a refund? Would this site give me a refund if I ordered it online through Best Buy? I've already looked through the FAQ and couldn't find anything that would help me and it seems that Roxio wants me to pay for technical support. Also I don't see Facebook being a good way to contact them.

You need to contact Roxio directly to get a refund.
