Roxio38
Gentlemen; Hello, I have what I hope is an easy question. How can I delete saved custom settings on the audio clean up. I see you can save settings under your own title. But I no longer want or need these settings (I have 12 saved in the equalizer). Thanks for any help that can be given. -R-
Jim_Hardin
??? If you do a Save or Save As and give it a unique name (Custom One)... Then bring it up and delete the audio in it and save it again. Now Open it and add something and check the settings. Are they preserved? (this is my guess ~ I did not actually try it )
Roxio38
J_H; It is not a save or save as file. When you go into the equalizer there is a preset drop dwn menu. This has bass, treble, and voice presets programed in along with a custom set. When u use the custom preset and have set the equalizer to your preferance there is a small icon next to the drop dwn menu. When u click this icon it comes up with message Enter name for custom setting. When u do this and click o.k. this named setting becomes part of the drop dwn menu. Some of the named custom settings I no longer want or need (since I was just tryimg to learn the settings and how it all worked). I cannot find any files for these settings and I have tried deleting them through the edit menu by highlighting them and going to the delete command in that menu, and just clicking on them and hitting the delete key. No luck, if u have any insight on this problem pls let me know. Much thks. -R-
Jim_Hardin
That's the problem when you 'Wing an Answer'... The Program is Sound Editor and I have minimal experience with it. But others DO and are welcome to comment! Otherwise, I will poke it with my stick and let you know the results

Roxio38
J_H; Thks for the effort. And for your time. If any one else can help on this subject please respond. Its a small prob. but I don't want to have a hundred custom settings if I end up recording a bunch of Lp's. and/or cassettes. -R-
