carterbr
I do this easily with other software but wanted to know if I could upodate the encoder in Creator. Disappointing that it can't be done. One of my favorites is a suite of programs from CFB Software (Australian company, http://www.cfbsoftware.com) for digitally recording, clean-up processing, etc. The one I use is called LP Ripper which I use for breaking up WAV files into tracks and fade-in/fade-out. It easily loads and saves processed WAV files and also encodes to mp3. You have to have the encoder of your choice (LAME easily available by free download) and you specifiy LP Ripper to use it. If you use LAME, set preferences, encoder parameters to MP3-2. You can update the encoder as and when you like. Not expensive and really user friendly as is the rest of their suite. Very responsive technical help (and free).
Brendon
Not readily. The encoder is built-in. If you find a way to do it, I'd love to hear how.
