Not the Wii it is the Wii U game system. The unit works with only component cables via xbox 360 and wii u. It will not work with HDMI via xbox 360 or Wii U. The Unit will not pass the video source back to the tv. So you dont ask anything stupid Ive tested the cables I Made sure it is plugged in correctly and I even plugged it in opposite to make sure. Nothing Component works but not hdmi so i am choosing just to get a Elgato system and since this came with editing software already I have that

I think you are probably safe in not getting any stupid questions from anyone. With your attitude, it is doubtful that anyone will be asking you anything.

How do I attach my Wii to Roxio Game Capture HD PRO?

Use a Component (A/V) cable to connect between Wii and Roxio Game Capture HD PRO. Then connect Component (A/V) cable to TV for pass through.

I found out the info I have a faulty Game Cap I am just going to buy a Elgato Capture or pvr this is just crap. The Game Cap is set up with Hdmi coming from xbox to Roxio game cap input and then hdmi from output to tv and nothing. Use component works perfect. If i swithch hdmi cables around still nothing. I know how to hook up a system Ive been doing it for years, what I was trying to see is if it was something I missed on why Hdmi is not working, but now i see that it is just the system itself. I looked on Youtube and saw how others set it up and I had it correct. I figured that people would use common sense so i would have to say where the cables are plugged into that is retarted and a retarted question for a person to ask or need to know. Not trying to be a dick. But the Hdmi ports are clearly not working on this system because it will not send the signal from the game capture back to tv. If someone has a smart answer to resolve this please feel free to comment and let me know if not then I figure I right on where I stand
