sknis
Why do you think that there is an emulated drive on E? Is "E" a hard drive? Did you put an emulated drive on it? What is in it? If I remember, if you delete the contents, the emulated drive disappears.
Drumdog
Skins... E is not a hard drive. It appeard after installing Roxio Creator 2012. According to the device manager it is a Roxio DVD-ROM Emulator SCSI CdRom Device. If I uninstall that in the device manager, the E drive goes away in My Computer. But when I reboot, it comes right back. There is nothing in the emulated drive. When I select it, it tells me to insert a disk into DVD Drive (E:). You must have created the emulated drive at some point since C2012 does not create it automatically.. To remove, select "Disc Image Load" from the Tools menu on th C2012 home page.. Then in the window that opens select the emulated drive (in your case E:) and then click Remove. It is as simple as that.
heap
This is the correct way: #1 make sure the drive is NOT shared. #2 right click~PROPERTIES~DRIVER~DISABLE #3 relax
