Easy Vhs To Dvd

KarenSte

Question

I am having problem opening this program although it has been used successfully before. Nothing has changed on the system apart from upgrading to Google Chrome. I have removde it and reloaded it and it loads properly with no problems. I am using HP touchsmart 300 / windows 7 / and 176 gb free. When you open it it loads the blue screen then it starts to open the next screen which I presume is the registration one and then it hangs up - there are three boxes which can be typed in and a small x saying Roxio and an x on it which I guess is the start of the logo being downloaded, but thats it, won't go any further and have to reboot computer to get rid of them. Any suggestions???

I can get the Roxio labeller to open installed from the same disc but the vhs - dvd wont it keeps hanging up :-( Why would it have stopped working? It was so easy the first time I used it - very annoying now spent most of the day trying to resolve it.

Thank you for helping out though :-)

Did you check out your display to make sure it was set at 96 dpi (100% in Jim's attachment above)?

I don't know why it would do it, but maybe Google Chrome killed it. Did you do any Windows updates since the last time it worked?

Yes I would have done a few as its a few months since I last used it and yes did all the above and mad no difference :-(

It is quite probable that one of the Windows updates killed the program. Finding which one may prove to be difficult. You can try uninstalling the latest updates, one at a time, to see if you get the software working again. (Reboot after each removal.)

I would start with Google Chrome.
