I Need Help!

Hi, I'm having a problem with the Roxio GameCapHD Pro, I hooked it up like i should and it worked fine the first time I tried it, but when I turned off my computer and turned it back on, the preview box just stays black, I can hear the audio and it still records but I cant see the picture anymore, i've re-installed the software but still nothing, i've looked around the forums but I can't find anything. If someone knows how to fix it I would appreciate it.

Make sure the HDMI cable is plugged in properly ?

The problem is Windows. Try updating DirectX, or enable Windows Aero.

Ok try this.

Turn off console

Turn off pc

Take roxio usb out of pc

Turn on pc

When at the desktop screen plug in roxio usb

Turn on console

 

This has worked for me countless times. It seems that is a certain turn on & turn off method for the hd pro. Hope it works for u bro.

hey bro i had this problem and you dont need to say what your specs are, firstlty make sure the drop down that says commponent says HDMI then also make sure you havent got any screen recorders overlapping that window
