iv tried all solutions provided by roxio and iv searched the forums and i still get the error "065F" during instalation of the roxio game capture pro disc

windows 7 professional 64 bit

intel core i-5-2400 3.10 ghz

service pack 1


one time i tried installing this and i was getting this error and i kept trying and i got it, then the next day i booteed up my computer and the software was gone iv tried many times now to install the software but i get the same error everytime!

I suggest you try it again this way...


First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.


Now insert your Roxio Disc but
don't run Install


Use Explorer to navigate to the disc and Right Click on Setup.exe then choose Properties - Compatibility.


Make sure there
is not
a checkmark in any Compatibility setting!!!


Now right click it and choose Open.


Be sure you accept the offer to Check for Updates (this is for Roxio, not Windows)


When the Install competes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot

No, not for a web ticket or for FaceBook...


In no case can anyone wait until the end, then charge you :huh: Whenever support charges, they are always upfront with the details and only charge you IF You Agree! (this holds true for all manufactures I have delt with through the years ;) )
