Vhs To Dvd 3 Plus Not Working Win Xp

Question

The program was purchased from Best Buy online.I installed the software from the disc and the product key seemed to work, although I don't see the plus features. When I try recording DVD after the VHS tape is finished and I stop recording the program says Finishing with the symbol going round and round but it never finishes, I waited a long time. If I try the Record, Edit, Save option everything starts ok and then after a time, (a few minutes to many minutes), the whole computer shuts down and restarts with no warning and then there is a serious error report from windows. I tried to do all updates and check possible solutions. Does anybody have any ideas what is going on?

I checked the requirements and it seems to be good. I have Win XP SP3, Intel core 2 duo cpu E6550@2.33 Ghz , 199GB Ram, HL-DT-ST DVD ram GSA-H55L from LG, Intel 82945G express chipset family , Windows Media Player 11, 189 GB of free space on the hard drive for install. I was able to burn one DVD on the Record Edit Save option, now the whole computer shuts down and restarts with a serious error each time. The Record DVD option never finishes. Thanks for any help possible.

Hi Again: Has anyone out there had the same or similar problem with computer crashes? Any ideas what is going on? Thanks.

I don't know what is going on, but do shut down all other running programs when you are using VHS to DVD 3 Plus?

Also, read through the thread in the following link for to see how to get to the Plus features:
