Easy Vhs To Dvd 3 Plus Will Not Finish

I am using the Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus software for the first time. It installed just fine and I made one DVD which worked fine. On the second VHS that I did, when it was done recording, it went into the finishing part and it has been doing that for over an hour. It will not let me close the program because it isn't "finished" and I can't remove the DVD until it is finished either. Anyone have any ideas?

Don't capture directly to DVD but use the Record, Edit Save option. In this way you will capture the video first to your hard drive then you can burn the video in a separate step. This method completely separates the two processes. It also allows you to play and perhaps edit the video before burning.

 

The length of time required depends on many factors: the time length of the video, your system specs, you system state, etc.

 

How long in time are you trying to burn to DVD?

Me Too posts are generally not useful. Unless you have the same system, are doing exactly the, etc. as the original poster, your issue is probably different.

 

Supply some information on your system, what you are doing, how long is the video you are capturing?

Have you done a small test of maybe a few minutes to see if the program works to completion

I am using Easy Vhs To Dvd 3 Plus and have the same problem as previous posts in that the process will not "Finish" and I have to close the program thru the task manager to shut it off. I have an HP with an AMD quad core, 2 T hard drive and 8 gigs of ram, have the device plugged into a USB 3.0 port. This seems to occur when there is a small gap in the tape scenes and the software indicates that it can't find a video signal. Even when the new scene displays the software doesn't recognize it. Any suggestions?
