I recently bought "Creator NXT" to edit my home videos. I have one video where you really can't understand whats being said and was wondering if i could somehow add text to the video as it's being said.. like closed caption. I tried adding text and using the motions effects but it took me 4 hours to to add text to 20 mins of content. Their has to be a better way.. can anyone point me in the right direction?

I don't know of any other way. Video editing is not quick and easy. You could perhaps leave out the motion effects

 

One other option would be to create audio file where you or someone speaks what is being said and then you add the new audio on one of the audio tracks. This will of course also require a lot of time to get everything recorded and synchronized.
