Activation Through Firewall

Hey all,

 

I've had one of my users purchase this software, I'm trying to set this up for them, with no luck, it refuses to connect to the server to take the product key,

 

We have a corportate firewall. Standard ports 8080 and 443 are open (that is right 8080, using port 80 is a big security risk).

 

Now I refuse to pay £20 for support ticket - the software cost that! But I can't get this registered, does anyone know the IP/address of the registration server so I can get this allowed through our firewall, and also the port it uses? I'm guessing this is port 80 though, which if it is I can let traffic through to this IP/address of the activation server on port 80.

Is it the NXT Software in perticular?

It is the NXT version, I tried to phone them and they said its a tech problem so I'd have to pay for support. I argued that its an installation problem but to no luck so hoping someone can help on here.

Sknis - I've had a look at that link, and its not for Roxio software no where can you select Creator.

It is a Corel web page. Corel owns Roxio but is still integrating the two. Try it. Put in the Creator name.

Yes that is what you can try ~ it is not easy as they have changed things a couple of times since the merger
