Hidden Files Show On Dvd When Placed In A Pc

When I burn a DVD as a data disc on the Mac, the hidden files from the Mac folder structure will show up when I test the dvd on the PC. These files usually start with a dot underscore (._) followed by the name of its shadow file. They are confusing to PC users. How do I burn the DVD on the Mac without including these files?

In the Data section of Toast Preferences there is a box to check next to Show hidden files. You then should be able to see those files in grey text in the Toast window where you can select and delete them prior to burning the disc.
