Problem Burning Photo Files On A Dvd Disk

orion6969

Question

Having problem with backing up photos to external storage device.

I keep getting this message when I try backing up some photos to an external hard drive. This is my back-up device ,drive j.

This is the message I keep getting. “ The file has properties that can’t be copied to the new location.”

I never had any problems in the past using any other program until now using this software Roxio Creater 2012. It also seams I can’t either open or edit photos with other programs . It would appear that the Roxio software program is designed to copy / burn / edit photos and data files using only their program and I cannot open or use files created using Roxio on other computers unless Roxio is also installed on those computers.

Can anyone explain any of this to me?

How?

You haven't even told us the full/real name of the Roxio software you are using?

Then in what application of that software suite are you using to do this photo work?

And you posted this in the General Chat Area of the forum.

Your post is confusing. The subject line says "Problem Burning Photo Files On A Dvd Disk" but your post is all about copying files to a hard drive. Exactly what are you doing?
