da600gunnaz Posted January 18, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 18, 2013 i have installed the software correct, it opens fine to the main screen ( capture or edit screen ), it open to either screen (capture or edit) fast as anyone else's did on their youtube video that did not have any issue's, but no matter what resoulution i choose ( 480p,720p,1080i) i get this rainbow video distortion throught the video. heres is the vid i recorded of my issue: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlXNIPQsQjw would not let me post video sorry. da600gunnaz Posted January 18, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 18, 2013 oh it did well yea please help someone. i have taken my laptop over to bestbuy geek squad and got their approval that it does meet roxio's pc requirements. also. but again: acer aspire 5532 amd athlon 2 ati redeon hd3200 upto 1408 hyper memory 3gb memory 68 gb hdd available out of 160gb hdd stock resolution set to 13xx x 763 ( highest choice anything lower says it doesnt meet requirements ) update installed via help menu ( although i read about a service pack 1.1 that fixes the issues similar to mine but the link is dead) drivers installed properly and working ( tested with other programs like xsplit and it shows roxio hd pro in sources list but still does the same rainbow laggy , audio goes in and out type of thing in the video. ) im on ps3 and i have component input ( sony component ) & hdmi output display settings in ps3 are set to component>standard,480p,720p,1080i>finish and set audio>select audio input connector>done ( AND SHOW'S VERY VERY CLEAR IN THE SPOTS THAT ARENT RAINBOW EFFECTED.) ive done my homework but i have now crashed and burned and need some assistance please. any random ideas, tips, hints, previous experiences. post em here. It's not listed on either Game Capture but every other Roxio product has it as a system requirement. 1024x768 DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics card with at least 16-bit color setting, sound card, DVD-ROM drive. If you told the software to check for updates when you installed it your running SP1. If not and you use the updater within the software you get SP1 that way. But i will find the forum post that i was talking about and post as proof that "roxio company " made a post about sp1.1 and that it did not fix anything major jus a few issue with 720p & higher resolutions.
