Convert Photoshow To Mp4 Format

helpneededhere

Question

The "Share" feature of Photoshow includeds the option to convert to MP4 format, and promises to return to the MP4 file by email within 4 hours. Nothing happened when I tried this. What to do??? Is there any other way to convert a Photoshow to MP4? I need this urgently for a Photoshow to be played at a funeral service. Thank you.

The option to create a PhotoShow in RoxioP PhotoShow does not work and hasn't for over a year. Roxio seems to have orphaned this program.

I don't think Roxio ever promised to return the completed mp4 file in 4 hours and certainly not by e-mail.

The last time that I got it to work, I was notified, via e-mail, that the MP4 was ready for download. A link was given for the download.

I believe that the 4 hours statement sounds about right for getting the notification, but it was always hit or miss for me, whether or not I would ever receive that notification.

There is the Save as MP4 video option. I tried that several times and a notification saying "Status: We're processing your request..." and they will send me an email when the video is ready. I never received the video and I tried several times in different days. I signed up to the premium membership for this feature. I need the video file for a presentation. Does anyone know how to get the MP4 video of a photoshow that one creates? Thanks

That option has been broken for years and Roxio seems to have no interest in fixing it.

In fact, Roxio seems to have no interest in this program anymore it seems.

If you have the premium membership, download the desktop version of PhotoShow 6. Sign in and then download your PhotoShows to your desktop. You should download all of them. In the third step of the desktop version, , you have the option of burning to a DVD, or to create a mpg2 or wmv version of the PhotoShow. That should be enough. If not, downlaod the free version of a Video Converter- I use "Any Video Converter" to convert from any video format to any video format.

In the future make all you PhotoSHows with the desktop version and upload those you want to share on the web. The PhotoShows are saved with a photoshow extension on your computer.
