Roxio Game Capture Hd Pro - Glitchy Video And Audio - (Fixed)

I may have a fix for the glitchy video and audio happening to many people.

 

Assuming that you meet or exceed the requirements to run the Roxio software, your PC or Laptop is not overheating, your cables are in working order, your Roxio unit is not faulty, and you have updated the software and drivers, you may need to try tweaking your Graphics Card settings.

 

I my case I needed to go into the Nvidia Control Panel and change some settings in the 3D Settings - Manage 3D Settings tab.

 

After some trail and error and testing, I found that with the right settings, the Glitchy Video and Audio are solved.

Still no luck for me. Did everything the ATI video said (within reason, the latest AMD Catalyst Suite does not phrase its options like that, so who knows if that's the issue).

 

Right around the 300mb mark, it starts glitching.

I wasn't aware other people were having this problem, but my laptop doesn't have a dedicated graphics card, it has Intel HD Graphics. Any idea how to fix that? Recording had worked flawlessly in the past, so I don't know it is happening now.

ok so im having an issue with my roxio hd pro using component cables i dont know how to fixso ok when i start recording my voice records fine with audacity but when it records peoples voices through the capture card it echos (repeats twice first time soft second time normal) and i cant fix it does anyone know how please help me

Are you using a separate mic to record your voice? If so then it could be that you need to mute the preview sound in the roxio capture software. If its not muted then the mic will pic it up which would then calse the delay
