jarisma
Hi - is there any way to "encrypt" the DVD's/CD's that I burn? I often create slideshows of pictures I take or DVD's of movies that I film - is there any way to encrypt them so others cannot copy? Thank you - any info would be appreciated! Sony and the movie folks spend countless $$$ on this and the movies still get copied.

Do you have Roxio Burn (enabled)? It adds password protection to the disc if that is enough for you. 0 sknis
Not sure -- where do I check to see if it is enabled? Go to the start page of Creator and click on Tools" and then "Configure roxio Burn..." When you put a disc into the configured drive, a small icon will appear on the bottom right of your screen.. 0 bimicher
I don't think this will work for authoured DVDs since you will not able to play them on a DVD player.
0 Brendon
Data discs only, not video-DVD. You'll have to give the recipients the password so they can see your data, and once they have that they can copy the data freely.
0 Jim_Hardin
If this is just a sample disc ~ like a photographer sends out proofs, you can add a Text Overlay, like a watermark and remove it in the final version A better description of your intended use of the disc's would really help.
