How To Equalize Sound Levels While Burning An Audio Cd

Question

I am making an audio CD consisting of songs taken from different CDs which I own.

The volumes of these albums occasionally differ - quite a bit.

How can I level out the volume of the songs so that they are the same?

I am using Roxio Creator 2011Pro but am willing to upgrade if this will help.

Thanks

Audra

In C2011 Pro, use Music and Audio, Edit Audio, opens Roxio Sound Editor, use "Normalize: Sets the volume of clips to a consistent level. Before using this effect, go to the Mix Editor (if available), select all the clips in a layer, and click Join Clips."
