Cannot Play Disc On Sony Blu-Ray

Loaded Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus on my computer. Connected to my VCR and my first project I simply used Record DVD and burned to a Memorex DVD-R. Content was 8 minutes long. Plays in Sony Blu-Ray, Windows Media Player 12 and XBOX.

 

Second project, I used Record, Edit and Save. Content was about 15 minutes long. Burned to Memorex DVD-R. Plays in Sony Blu-Ray, Windows Media Player 12 and XBOX.

 

Third project, I used Record, Edit and Save.The content was an hour and a half long. Used the Span DVDs and split into approximately 45 minutes each. Disc plays in Windows Media Player 12 and XBOX but not in Sony Blu-Ray.

 

I did not changed any of the default values.

Perhaps your Sony does not like the spanned DVDs

 

Do the play in standard DVD players?

 

Of course you know that Memorex are bottom of the barrel DVDs in quality?

I've never burned a spanned disc.

 

Is the disc structure the same as your first two projects?

I have dabbled with the Span Discs, up to 3, and each disc is a DVD Movie disc, with or without Menus, depending on user choice.

 

I suspect it is a Memorex issue...

 

It would be good if you got a couple DVD RW discs to play with - avoiding the 'M' brand.

Also stay away from the "S" brand. (Store Brand).
