Problems After Overhaul

Elayne

Question

I am having this issue now after successfully using Videowave in the past. I recently took my computer in for an 'overhaul' and now I'm getting this message. If they did a Microsoft upgrade what can I do to make videowave work again? The error message I'm getting says: "Runtime Error! Program C:\Program Files\Roxio2012\VideoUI\Videowave13.exe This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information." I have Roxio Creator 2012. My computer is:

Lenovo Thinkpad

Windows XP

Intel ® Core Z Duo (CPU)

T5670@1.80 GHZ

1.78GHZ, 1.96 GB of Ram

I'm thinking up upgrading my computer to a faster/bigger capaticity, however, my computer man says this computer should last for awhile longer. And like I said, I've been able to use Videowave before so something has changed. If they did a Microsoft upgrade what should I do?

My Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error is now fixed. I went to Microsoft website and they suggested a Redistributable pkg. download which I did. That didn't fix the problem. Then I did a clean boot check using MSCONFIG and that did not fix the problem. I restarted the computer a few times and changed the start up settings and then changed them back and now I'm able to use Videowave without the error message. I don't know what I did, but now Videowave is working without the C++ Runtime Error. YAY.
