I've been using Toast since 1998 and have seen it evolve into an amazingly feature rich tool. I recently upgraded to a MacPro with 8 cores. I've noticed that .mp4 files encode much slower than other formats. Other formats encode using all 8 cores and in a fraction of the time of .mp4 files. Why wouldn't all cores be use regardless of format?
