Installing Roxio Nxt Over Roxio Creator 2012

Judy C

Question

I currently have Roxio 2012 but will be getting Roxio any day now. Will I need to uninstall Roxio 2012 before installing NXT or do you install over right ver it? I'm sorry that this is a question that has been asked before but I am new here ... I could not figure out how to get to the replys that were posted. I hope it will be self explanatory how to get any replys that are sent to me regarding this.

Thank you,

Judy C.

Leave Creator 2012 on your computer; NXT will automatically uninstall what needs to be uninstalled. Think twice about installing NXT. is there anything that you really need in that upgrade?

I agree with sknis - keep your C2012. There is almost nothing in NXt that is an improvement over C2012. In my opinion it is actually a "small step" backwards.

Wow! Really? I did not expect that it was not a good thing to upgrade to NXT. I do a lot of videos (as well as burn and convert music). I currently use Pro Show Producer for this but thought it sounded like NXT might be something I would like to try for videos. I wish I had of inquired before making the purchase. Are there problems with NXT or is it just that it is not much improvement over 2012? Thank you both for your comments!
