Roxio Creator 2012 Usage

I purchased Roxio Creator 2012 my customer number is 173897536 and i have a question on the use of this software for burning DVD videos, as follows:

 

From the 'videos/movies' tab on the roxio main menu i would like to convert/burn -----.mpeg and ----.wmv extesion files to a DVD in a format that is compatible with my Toshiba DVD video player attached to my TV. when i click on the 'copy and convert video' link at the top, and then click on 'DVD' as my output media and then from the 'category' choose sony im presented with 2 options (PSP and Playstation) - however this DVD is for neither, as it is meant for the Toshiba DVD player - what do i do?? and does this process just copy or does it convert into the appropriate format for the device that I want to read the converted DVD into?

Choose DVD as your 'choose output'.

When you look at the category entries you see that they are all for iPads, smart phones etc. That list does not apply to DVDs. The process creates a DVD video that is playable on all DVD players, even your Toshiba
